My how I wish my body would move as I think it should! The instructions from our yoga teach foretell
of a downward dog coming, I cannot get myself into that position and I
follow her direction and try.
At we
hold the position she reminds us to be patient with ourselves and as my legs
vibrate, my wrists begin to hurt her words are opening new thoughts and ideas.
Patience what is it? It must be more than just waiting quietly.
Patience I have come to understand is being
present in each moment waiting with expectation for wisdom.
Being patient with yourself is the same being present with yourself
expecting wisdom, opening to self awareness, to knowing yourself differently to finding the wisdom you hold.
With my new understanding of patience I approached a project
that I have struggled with to complete and patience provided inspiration.
Genius is eternal patience ~ Michelangelo
In 2015 for some reason I did not take a photograph and I can
only assume it was a rough day and yet I have taken a daily picture through the
worst of days. Not having a photograph has
left me not knowing and filled me with many questions about that day.
It is a marvel of the human experience how a
picture transports you back to that moment, to your thoughts and expectations.
How do you hold onto memories?
