Pears always remind me of my sister Carla and our amazing
trips to Saskatchewan where pears are cheaper than apples and Carla makes the
most amazing Pear Pie.
Our back yard pear tree is full of Pear this year.
Carla’s Pear Pie Recipe
Add 1/4 cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons of minute tapioca in a
bowl with 1 cup of pears in a bowl mix well and fill a pie shell. Bake for 1 hours or until golden brown at 350
F. This can be both a single or double crusted
pie.
