The 2014 Durham Ontario Herb Fair
We spent a wonderful morning walking around the Durham Herb
Fair. This event has been a spring
tradition for many families and I look forward to picking out my
kitchen herb pots along with visiting with local crafts people and farmers.
Each year the attendance at this wonderful example of a
community fair is getting smaller and smaller.
The reason is believed to be the introduction of herbs at local grocery
store garden centres. This is very unfortunate!
Next year consider a drive to Durham Ontario CA and attend
the Herb Fair held the first Saturday in June every year.
