Snow Painting

Snow painting winter activity children

This winter activity was found on Pinterest and linked to Growing a Jeweled Rose  website.
Kool Aid spray bottles
In preparation for this activity save empty ketchup, salad dressing and other squeeze bottles.  If you do not have any purchase as many squeeze bottles as colours you are going to provide your children. I changed the recipe for snow paint.  Instead of using food colouring and vinegar we used KoolAid and water.

The girls had a great time creating what they called scent bubbles.

This activity combined creative express, co-operation, fresh air, exercise and great memories for under $9.00.

The girls stayed outside working on their master piece until all of the paint was gone.  It took the three girls about an hour to empty all of the bottles.
