A beautiful day

Today was an amazing day sunny, and warm a day that demanded flowers.

This morning I continued to clean up my craft room one bag of supplies at a time.
I unraveled this sweater made from sari silk yarn, created some tags to hold samples
of the yarn to give away in happy mail or use myself in journals.

The finished samplers.
I can stay at cleaning if I get to spend some time creating.

Our daughter and son-in-love used our driveway to clean their car and
we all walked downtown to get a quick lunch.  Outside the library spring flowers
are blooming.

Back home Paul and I tackled the front sitting area, cleaning up
from the winter.

We pruned the shrubs that boarder our sitting area.

Once everything was set up we needed flowers.

We enjoy this sitting area morning sun with afternoon shade.

With the dry leaves cleaned up, a potted plant and the fig moved outside
our entrance is once more welcoming of guests.

Paul had Lion's Club this evening so I was on my own for supper.
With help from our instant pot I had a wonderful rice dish in
less than an hour.
