Myrtle Beach March 7, 2019 A new beach and sharks teeth

While all beaches on the Strand look similar they are
unique if you take the time to look.  On the beach
out from the boardwalk we found large shells and sharks teeth.

Sharks teeth are hard to find and require that
you get down on your knees in the sand to find.

This is the view of the first pier on the Myrtle Beach boardwalk
if you are approaching from the north.

Can you find the sharks tooth it is there!

Why are they black?  These are teeth lost 100's
of years ago and we are told that if you find a white
sharks tooth get out of the water!

This was by far the best find of the day
and Carla found it.
Did you know that sharks loose teeth on a daily
basis as new teeth cycle through the jaw.
