Risen with Christ

“Christ is risen!”, come the shouts of the women closest to Christ as they run back to the disciples to share the unbelievable news that the tomb is empty and Christ lives.

The disciples meet this news with scepticism, being men of knowledge, they know that death is final and so the women’s overexcited announcement makes no sense.  Yet their spirits, that spark of God in each of us, knows this to be true.

So they are drawn to the impossible, to the miraculous and race back the way the women have just come.

And this is how many of us have experienced Easter Sunday.

Faith over powers doubt when we embrace our spiritual connection to God and calm our over active minds opening up to the miraculous, to God.  In this way by faith we are risen with Christ.

Christ Is Risen!

We are forgiven!
