Born between 1946 and 1964 we the Post World War II Baby Boomers
are now grandparents, aunts and uncles with at least two generations coming
after us. We hold now hold the key to our unique family memories of WWI and WWII.
We grew up with stories of our parents, and grandparents
experience of WWI, the Great Depression and WWII. And our childhood was coloured by the
politics of the Cold War.
Today our children and grandchildren experience Remembrance Day
through history books, TV and documentaries. This Remembrance Day and in the
week that follows share the stories that you heard as the child.
Help the next generations in your family understand the sacrifice and courage at
a family level. Give them the gift of their family history and their personal
reason to celebrate Remembrance Day.
