Our Vintage Flair
At the November 2013 meeting Jan, Joan and Julie of ‘Our Vintage Flair’ challenged us to see broken jewelry, antique lace, lace ends, keys, old black and white picture and anything else you might find at a flea market or garage sale as inspiration in the creation of mix media art.
Our Vintage Flair’ brought with them examples of Christmas stockings, pillows, cards, dolls, hanging and bags that they have created and that are for sale at the online store.

We saw quilts that had been entered at local competitions.  These were family quilts beautiful in their detail.  Joan reminded us that it is important to label the projects that we make so that in years to come the name of the project and who made it will be known.

'Our Vintage Flair' brought with them a small craft for the club members to make.  A vintage gift tag.  We a great time making theses tags.  It was interesting how each tag was different while we all used the same materials and pattern.

Visit ‘Our Vintage Flair’ and see more of the wonderful gifts that they have for sale.
